Results of coolant flush

Came to my parent's place, sitting at idle car was pushing 195 degrees, nice and hot day. After the flush/redline water wetter, car was at 180, no more no less. Well 170 until i drove it around the block. After a very spirited run (while there are still bubbles in the system lol), the temp went up to 195. Later on in the evening, the car club and I decide to go for a cruise... so after some, once again, spirited driving (this time in a cooler ambient temperature), the temp didnt go past 190. Overall I'm happy with the results, however, the temp does still seem to go up rather quickly when revving over 3,000RPM. I've deduced that my airpump belt IS loose. Probably why it's slipping I guess. That reminds me, if the water pump belts are slipping, would you hear them?

The water pump housing looks brand new, as does the pump, and I imagine that they were changed with the engine 20,000km's ago... So I don't think it's the pump.

Later on, went for a rip, and the temperature didn't go over 190, and it was fairly hot.

Materials:
8oz Redline Water Wetter
1gal Prestone Green
1gal De-ionized Water

Results:
Two thumbs up!

the redline water wetter is a waste of money is you are running close to 50/50 or even 60/40 water to coolant.

It is when you get to 90/10 water to coolant that it helps. But i'm too lazy to flush the coolant system before winter.

Welp, it ended up being 75/25 after all was said and done.

The back of the bottle shows that 50/50 is fine, but pure water + redline gives 8 degrees less. I rather have that 25% coolant giving me a little extra protection

I removed my rad and power-sprayed out what appeared to be an entire cat. Now running cooler. I plan on replacing the thermostat for good measure.
