Restrictor pill

I do not have the restrictor pill in my vaccume line that runs to my boost sensor... I also have a 3800 rpm studder. Could this be the cause?? Where can I get one, or what can I substitute for it?
Thanks

I think you're saying that the car hiccups at 3800 rpm and you think that this may be caused by not having the restrictor pill, correct?
If so, the 3800 RPM hiccup has been covered millions of times. Read the thread that says read this before posting, look in the archives, and search to find answers.
If it's a NA car, no restrictor pill isn't hurting. Go unplug the sensor and notice how the car still runs fine.

It NEVER hurt to install the orifice. Do a search for ORIFICE and you'll find the part number at the MAZDA dealer. Buy it and shove it up the line at the acv end of the line. About a inch into it will do. Cost is one to two bucks, I understand.

Anything that fits snuggly inside the vac line and has a 0.5mm hole drilled in it will work fine.
