resistors for my 720's

I have a 88 t2 and i want to put some greddy 720cc injectors as secondaries...i know i need to use some 20 watt 10 ohm resisters cuz the greddy injectors are low impedence and my car uses high impedence ones....but i have no idea where i can buy these and where they go.....fc3spro doesnt really explain how to use the resistors....so if someone can help me out it would be greatly appreciated....

I'm using 10W 10 Ohm ceramics from Radio Shack.
No problems after nearly a year.

Pretty basic.
I clipped the stock original plugs & reused them.
I spliced the resistor in one wire & about 4" of extra wire on the other.
Small heat shrink insulation on the solder joints.
Large insulating tube zip tied over the whole deal.

If you want to keep your harness looking original, many prefer splicing in the resistors right at the ECU.

I put them behind the ecu because I think that there are some heat issues with putting them in the engine bay.

Well, I dont run a stock ECU anymore. But you get the FSM, look at the ECU pinouts. Then just solder the resistors inline with the injector outputs you wish to impedance match.

i want to run my secondaries as 720s.....would 10 watt 10 ohm resistors be right??how did u cover these resistors after u soldered them in?? and what is an FSM??

10 watt 10 ohms seem to work just fine. Those are the ones I used when I was stock ECU. I covered them is shrink wrap, but a good electrical tape would probably suffice. The FSM is the factory service manual. In section 4A or 4B (depending on turbo or not), it has the pinout of the ECU. All you have to do is locate 2 wires, which would be coming out of the ecu via the harness, that run the secondaries.

Second thought, it might be less complicated to just put them in the engine bay. I dont personally advocate this, but I know lots of people that have done it successfully.

but it does get quite hot in there.....basically just splice it into the wiring w/e i can do it?? somewhere between the injector and ecu....
