Can anyone tell me the standard resistance on 1987 rx7 injectors (both readings) , I have to buy new ones and i see that they are two types for the same 1987 year, and they don't say the resistance, so i was wondering if yall could tell and also were i can find them online .

What is the manufacture date of your FC? There were 87's then there wre 87.5's durign that particular year, they changed to higher impedence injectors on teh second run.

 

exactly I don't know which is mine , I check the VIN but all the say it was made in 87 nothing more , r the any other distinguishing characteristic that you know that can enable to tell what mine is ?

 

There should be a sticker in teh drivers side door jamb that tells the manufacture date as well as other lil things such as weight and the balance of teh car.

Edit: Also of note, there is a long silverish box on the passenger side of the car around teh air box area if the car is 87, 87.5's dont have this box as its for teh injector impedence, forgot the name of it but it goes from teh high impedence the ecu sends out to the low teh injectors use.

 

Low impedence would be about 2 - 3 ohms.
High impedence would be about 14 ohms.
