Resignator

Thinking of adding a resignator to my exhaust. Currently I have a RB exhaust, CatCo cat, 2.5 inch piping with dynomax mufflers. The exhaust sounds good but i want to quiet it a little and make it sound a little more mellow. Do you think this well do it and if so, what brand would you reccomend. Thanks
Paulie.

Picky, picky, picky.

I have a Dyno Max in back of the cat, and I couldn't agree more with the noise being a bit much. Not real bad but still, too loud. And that's with a RB downpipe and pre-silencer.

I've no answer for you though.

Well I have an answer for you,Im currently running a dynmax system too and I agree its the loud. However, I bought a resonator(replacing midpipe) for my car and yes it did quite it down abit but I also have these Ichibahn exhaust tips, get aload of this built in resinators also. Now may car has the deep tone to it now and really sounds mean. This tips I did not expect them to have this feature. 21 dollars each not bad deal. Anywho heres a pic of those tips.............read my signature

I have heard of putting in a muffler in place of the main cat works really well to quite the exhaust down. I've been occationaly looking into what type of muffler and so far I cant find anything that isnt filled w/ fiberglass... Just something w/ a little baffeling would work fine I think.

I got the resinator off of ebay for 25 buck plus shipping think it was a total of 35 dollars. Anywho, the one I bouhgt was for an eclipse 90-94. Fits perfect and it came with bolts and gaskets. I didnt need a 3" resinator and didnt want to weld it on as a permit thing, it has flanges that bolted right up to my system.
