requesting hi-res engine pics

i'm particularly interested in smog-stripped cars running on the minimum of rats' nest action. i'd also prefer pics form the spark plug side so i can see the rats' nest.

working on adapting a S4 engine and intake to the S3 6pi injection and ignition.

thanks in advance!

Yah that's the site. Engine bay is outdated but it should give you a good enough idea of what you want. Here is a pic of where the rats nest specifically used to be, like you requested:

If you have any questions about specific parts I'd be glad to explain.

where did you get the blockoffs for the aux port actuators and that doohickey on the left side of the dynamic chamber? (i figure if i can block it off, i don't need to learn the name of it am i rite?)

also, i shot you an email earlier today. looking at your engine bay, you have pretty much the setup i'm trying to get at in my gsl-se - i could really use your help on sunday, assuming my parts are all in, if you would be willing to come out and help me, i'd be willing to supply beer (or bitch-beer, whatever you prefer) and pizza.

Yah I emailed you back. What kinda beer?

On my last LIM I tapped and threaded in a bolt for the holes left from the 6pi system. I broke a stud on that LIM later and got one off ebay with already plugged holes for the 6pi system. I'm not sure what that person did, though, no idea what it is or how it got in there. Kind of looks like a bolt they threaded in and then cut the head off maybe? Not sure.

The thing blocked off on the dynamic chamber is the BAC if we're thinking on the same page.

do you have any problems without the bac? i figure i could just raise my idle to like 1500 in lieu of that part.. plus it will make my engine bay that much cleaner

anyhoo, apparently i didn't get your email back. if you're down for lending a hand on sunday, shoot me a PM and i'll give you directions to where i'll be working on it.

I haven't had any problems without the BAC, but I don't have any electrical stuff (one of its functions is to raise idle under electrical load) like PS or AC anymore, plus it wasn't really working anyways.

I'm gonna PM you right now.
