Reprogramming Stock ECU

I'm trying to to find an N370 ECU, but it is hard to find one. Is it possible to reprogram the stock ecu back into stock form?
Any help would be appreciated...BTW the ecu is for a stock S5 turbo.

Not sure you are being very clear on what you want to do.
Sounds like you want to "reprogram to stock" an already stock ECU.
Try again maybe.

Basically the stock ECU is bad. Is it possible to get it working again?

Here's what happened...I had the check engine light come on. I tried to clear the codes after I was done, but the codes wouldn't clear. I was told it was probably a bad ECU. I took my friends N370 ECU and the problem was gone. I've been trying to find another ECU for my friend, but no luck. That is I was wondering if it can be fixed. The original ECU was also slightly tinkered with.

Post in the for sale section as a want to buy. Keep it bumped if they let you and maybe you will luck out.

Past that maybe contact www.digitaltuning.com Maybe they can help. I know they don't have an upgrade on the market for the S5 T2 but maybe they can help non the less.

Good Luck!

What exactly did you do to clear the codes?

^I followed the direction from 1300cc.com. I had the check engine light come on. It said OMP was bad so I proceeded to check that out. I bought 2 different OMP. Check engine light still stayed on. So I decided to swap out the ECU. After that everything worked as it should.
