Question replacing wheel studs

so i was wondering how i go about replacing a wheel stud i managed to break i was gonna to use the two nut method but i was wondering if they are stuck to the actual hub ?anyone ever run into a similar problem?

rear or front studs rears are easy and should come oout no prob the front will fight to the point your likly to give up. i did and i just grinded down my screwed threads and placed a new set of lugs on it.

rear 5 lug i man handled the nut as it would not wanna come out i managed to break the stud . i was lookin at the archives and someone said they are stuck to the hub but oh well ill replace them later oh one more thing where can i get replacements i was thinkin mazdatrix..

you can get replacements at your local autozone,Advance auto parts or parks auto parts they are like $1.50 at advance

Hammer and it'll come out, you have to do it in one particular spot though, as there's a special cutout to allow for this.

hmm really i think i broke the dam thing off at the hub so now what ? lol this is to funny cannot believe i broke it . what could i use to get the old one out . thanks

Use a punch and a hammer, it's not rocket science. Penetrating lube and heat are your friends (don't set the lube on fire).

My car must be different from some of those above. I replaced a wheel stud on the rear and if memory serves, they had to be beaten out (pressed out). They didn't screw out. They were a press fit. In fact I remember having to remove the rear hub to get room to press the wheel stud out..
