Replacing oil cooler lines with Mazda Comp. Braided Steel lines
Replacing oil cooler lines with Mazda Comp. Braided Steel lines
Anybody have any tips? I bought mazdacomp. braided steel lines and I can't get them routed so that they are not touching anything. I have the A/C still on my car and the long line hits the bottom of the bracket. The short line rubs the A/C line that comes out from under the A/C compressor.

I dont think you are going to be able to keep them from touching anything. I bought a set of braided lines and they are touching a few things, but I dont think it will be a problem, they dont move much.

Exactly what masterrx said. Mine were leaking, these were about $126.00 for both lines which was about half the price of the original hoses.

PS. The braided steel line from Mazdacomp does NOT have a braided stainless jacket on the outside...it's covered by a rubber jacket. I thought they were going to have a stainless jacket.

One of the lines bursted while I was driving and my oil pressure guage was not working.... *sigh* luckily I just got home, and smell oil, I was like WTF ? and say oil all over my driveway. $50 to redo the hoses at a "hose place", no not hoes.... :p
