I didn't attempt it with the fuel rail on, but if memory serves, it would be tough. Looks like a good opportunity to send the injectors off to RC Engineering. I would recommend it. They service them in one day. Just remember to get new o-rings and donuts for the injectors.
I also replaced the primary fuel rail with the Pulsation Damper on it at the same time. Engine has 130K and replacing the PD seemed like good preventive maintenance. $135 from Mazdaformance.
If you are that deep into the manifold, you have probably unhooked many vacuum lines. Save yourself some frustration and replace them with new rubber or silicone. If you reuse the old ones, you are likely to have leaks that will drive you nuts. Same goes for new manifold gaskets.
I also took the LIM off and installed Pineapple sleeves. Rob@ Pineapple didn't have any complete units, but he sent me the inserts and I put them in myself. Not a big deal. (Also ported the manifolds at the same time)
I know this all sounds like more than you intended to do. But it's a good time to do preventive work and save yourself the trouble of tearing the intake down again later, or worse (fire). The performance results of a clean induction system are worth it, and you are already most of the way there if you've pulled the exten manifold.

sorry, cant help with the lines.I replaced my oil meetering pump but i kept the original lines. the problem was that the pump i put in was also junk. talk about being pissed off. I heard there is a way to bypass the pump which would alow the engine to rev over 2800rpm again but u have to pre-mix the fuel. I need info on doing this please
