I can’t stop looking at it (Pics)

Well, I got my stage 3 turbo rebuild back from BNR on Friday;

• 800-900 CFM compressor wheel
• 15 degree clipped turbine wheel
• T04B compressor housing and back plate
• Dynamic thrust collar
• Ported turbine housing entrance
• Modified thrust bearing

So I hooked up my TID & air cleaner to see how everything looked. What do you think?

I love it when things start coming together, it’s a great feeling when everything starts to fall in place. Just thought I would share the pics with you all … feel free to make any suggestions. (I know the TID is pointed the wrong way right now, but you get the jist of things)

Ahh, a quick question. Can anyone sugest where to purchase replacemnt Oil lines for the turbo? I need to get them to keep the warranty intact. I have looked at the usual sites and have had no luck ... unless maybe I am looking for the wrong name of the item. What is the oficial name of those lines?

Thx

What are the specs on the TID if I were to make one myself? Is that a HDR part?

The whole setup is 3" diameter except the last collor attaching to the turbo. That is a 3"-2.5" reducer. The TID pipe is ~8" long & ~30 deg bend. The pipe was bent and shpaed my midnight performace in Rancho Cordova, CA

Can anyone anwser my turbo oil line question ?

TID is Turbo Inlet Duct. The section between the AFM & the Turbo. Total cost for the parts shown is about ~$1000.

It is all going back together & getting ready for the break in on August 7th.

I can't wait!!

that's the S4 intake piping & all that jazz? Mine looks different. I don't have that big shiny silvery thing that's got the waffle looking stuff on it.

Thats the flapper AFM. Your S5 will have a black plunger AFM.

I'm afraid you are going to have to go through the Mazda Dealer for those turbo oil supply lines. I usually get all my bits at Mazdatrix, but those and some other bits for my project I had to go through dealer for :-(
