Replacing Coolant Hoses
Hey guys, I'm planning on replacing my upper and lower radiator hoses over the long weekend. The upper should be a snap, but the lower looks like a real bitch. Does anyone have any advice on the best way to tackle the lower hose? Should I go after it from under the car? While I'm at it should I use any kind of chemical to flush out my radiator?
Any advice...

I've never used any Chemicals to flush my radiator, just ran water through the engine for a while..
The lower hose can't be accessed from below unless you remove the undertray. That's only a few bolts, but not sure if it's worth it.
Me, I'd take a razor knife to it

i was lucky, mine came off without too much trouble. i got mine off going from the top instead of through the bottom.
when you put the new one on though, apply little bit coolant on the hose mouth to help slide the hose in...it isn't all too hard to put in, just a little awkward.

Good 'ol vinegar works wonders on/in crustry rads. Of course, you need to disconnect the rad from the engine to use it...Fill the rad completely with vinegar, let sit a few hours, then rinse with water until clear.
