Replacing the accessory belts

My air pump and alternator belts are pretty much finished. I bought two new belts today..I know how to replace the alternator belt because the slider is all you've got to mess with...but it's the other belts I've no clue about. I've never had to replace belts in all 7 cars I've had..hah

For the Power Steering and A/C belts, I see these long *** threaded bolts attached to the rear of the pulleys for both...But loosening those doesn't do crap. So I'm assuming you need to loosen the bigger (24mm?) bolts that are on sliders to move them? As well as the long bolts? Go look at your cars and you'll see what I'm saying.

I also don't remember how the air pump belt comes off...I think you loosen the bolt that attaches it to the motor bracket and it just swivels...

Ya....n00b question, but whatever.

I got the power steering and A/C belts off...now the air pump is pissing me off. It looks like one bolt and the whole thing just swivels...well I loosened the bolt almost completely off and I can't get it to move. Am I missing a bolt? Up or down to loosen? I'd like to get this done before night fall...

I feel somewhat foolish...I felt around for a bit and found the slide adjuster for the air pump...kudos to Mazda for putting it where it's not visible under the mess of stock components.

Five minutes looking in the Haynes manual or FSM would've prevented all this hassle...
