Those seats are hard to get in and out of! I don't know how you guys do it with your daily driven FC's.

I started this thread, wound up getting new leather with a group buy from this and the no pistons forum. We got $499 for 2 buckets, I just finished my '88 vert, came out great.

As long as the foam and frame is in good shape this is a good option, took me about 10 hours to do 2 seats.

Yes, basically you remove seats from car, clip off about 50 hog ring staples that hold leather to foam and frame, then install new leather with hog rings. Took me about 5 hours per seat to do. Lot of pulling and stretching to get it in place.

Trying to add a pic as an attachment but it keeps hanging.

Have a stock '88 vert looking to replace, not sure if these would work, any suggestions? Thanks.
Hi.. I have an '88 vert with Lambo Doors as you can see by my avatar.. now the solution for your seats will be very simple... but its too much to type on here.. so if you feel comfortable enough you can call me and I will explain how to bolt the aftermarket seats in your RX7 convertible.. my name is Val and my number is 786-286-3351

or my email is: zondervanRX7@yahoo.com

Exclamation Convertible and Coupe seat rails are not the same..

Hey!
The seat rails for the coupe and convertible are not the same... you have several humps in the convertible because remember that the vert has to have a lot of reinforcements to make up for the lack of a solid roof... so the rails are not interchangeable.. check out this pic and check out the seats that i installed.. i had to make my own mounting holes.

Where exactly is this diagram ?

Would I do a search on this website ? or some place else... ? You post was not very clear or am I missing something ?

Are you able to provide a link instead of having to fish for it. ?
