replacement engine bay clips??

anyone ever tried to get a complete set of new OEM clips after repainting your engine bay? First call to a dealer wasn't very helpful.

alternatives ?

Try another call.........they are available. At least I've gotten some in (recent) past.

Just so we're clear, we're talking about ones such as brake line clips, the clips on the firewall for the A/C lines etc?

My autozone sells general automotive clips just like that. There's nothing special about the mazda ones.. just go get some of those. If your autozone doesn't have one; check home depot or something. Don't look specifically for automotive ones.

I bought genuine ones from Mazda and they were cheaper and better than the generic ones from autoparts stores. I didn't even tell to explain what I wanted, I just gave them the part numbers.
