Replaced oil injection lines and fuel injector clips - before and after pics
Today I finally got around to replacing my fuel injector clips and re-doing my oil injection lines.
I followed the excellent writeup using teflon tubing. I think it came out to 36 total (getting 10 feet or tubing and 12 clamps, which is a bit of overkill) and 2 day shipping. They came out looking very nice, especially compared to my old crappy brittle lines.
For the injector clips I just used generic bosch style clips from a parts store. Karak posted the part number somewhere a year or two ago. They aren't going to look as nice as factory, but will still be a hell of a lot better than what was on there. The shielding was cracking and falling off of them, and all 4 clips shattered when I was removing them. I've got all of the soldering and splicing done on them, as well as putting on the heat shrink tubing, but I haven't finished sealing them off. All in all I'm pretty happy with how they turned out. The old clips and wires were aweful, with the shielding cracked and falling off, and the wires hard from heat damage. The primary wires were so color distorted that I could barely tell which went were.
I attached a pic with the new and old oil injection lines along with all of the tools needed to do it, and a pic of the old fuel injector clips. I'll get pics of the new clips in the car tomorrow.

Yep, thats the link. For some reason it doesn't look like it ever made it into the archives, though I think it was meant to put it there.
I'm going to be putting the lines on the car today, so I'll let you know how they fit and everything once I'm done.

Well, the two longer lines are a bit too long. I made them fit, but for others that do this, it would be a good idea to attach it to the omp, then run the line in the car to make sure its the right length and cut it accordingly. I'm still finishing it up, then I'll post up some pics.
