replace the CAS with a distributor???

Is it possible to manufacture a distributor to take place of the Crank angle sensor. My 91 TII sparks once when i turn the key and thats it.

you could, but most likely it will be easier to fix the problem than retrofitting an entirely different system thats older and less effective.

I would do this as a last resort option. I was woundering if one from a 12a could do the trick

Why do you think the CAS is causing that? The CAS isn't what makes spark.

Terrible idea. Finding and fixing the problem will be easier than replacing your entire ignition system with an inferior one and trying to make it work.

Have you checked that there is 12V at the black/yellow wires at each coil pack? (Ignition on.)

Long story short is no. The stock ECU needs to see the signal from the CAS to fire the injectors, so you would need to replace the stock ECU with something aftermarket that will trigger off a dizzy, or downgrade further to a carb.

Wel,l i replace the ECU with a JDM Chipped by PAn Speed and I have plenty of spark now. however its not getting any fuel and STILL won't start. injectors have power. fuel lines are right.

Could the throttle position sensor be a problem? where is it located?

Just took intake manifold off and the fuel rail. Tried starting it and no fuel coming out the injectors. It is definately an electrical problem because I took the injectors off the rail and it has PLENTY of pressure. Any ideas?

Its a new ECU and I got spark.
