Replace all rubber or just bushings?
I dropped the rear subframe on my 88 10AE this morning so I can install new suspension components: Urethane bushings, dampeners and springs.
I was curious if most of you replace the rubber diff mounts now or just inspect them and reuse. I know the front ones tear often or did on my NA. I would just do it all for good measure but it gets expensive quick it seems. I don't mind throwing money at it now instead of later but just curious if its necessary.
Thanks!

usually not, but look for tears, and if its hard oil on it, that is bad

Install a pinion snubber while the subframe is out. I put one nut on top, one on bottom. That way, it's easily adjustable without having to drop the subframe down each time to add or remove washers.
Otherwise, I'd leave the differential bushings alone. They don't seem to go bad too often. Some people will make you believe you need some super stiff differential bushings, but if you don't want to feel like you're rolling on wooden wagon wheels, then leave them alone.
I just got done installing tanabe springs, new dampers, and poly bushings as well. I really enjoy it now, and the ride is actually quieter to boot
