Is there anyway to make sure my e-shaft pulley is aligned with the engine timing?

 

The bolts on the pulley only allow the Pulley to be put on one way.The correct way.It is not a true 4 hole square bolt pattern,One bolt hole is off set to make sure that the pulley only goes on One way.
Unless someone has taken the pulley and drilled the holes out so that the pulley goes on goes on any which way, it is fool proof.

You will have issues with the AFM, maybe also injectors unless the S4 TII also are 550cc.

The S5 doesn't have twin-scroll turbo so that can't be controlled.
