Removing Yellow From FTPs/Fogs...

I remember reading that you can use some sort of compound to rub on the old plastic from my FTP's and fog lights to make them look new again, but I forget what it was. Anyone know some good ways to do it? Also, anyone have pics of them lightly tinted?

Use a buffer with some buffing compound, itll take it right off. Could possibly do it by hand depending on how bad it is...

Go to your local auto parts chain store and get some meguiars plastic polish, its good stuff for making old plastic look as good as new. Takes almost all of that old stained look out of it.

Wet sanding is the key,

1500 Grit sandpaper placed in a sink with running water over top.

Results are posted below. Works great every time. Once your done sanding off the old, nasty factory clearcoat these come with you'll need to apply your own.

Goodluck.

Heres a pair that I polished with 3M imperial hand glaze. Buffing/polishing compound will have same results.
