Removing TII airpump question

What do I need to know about removing this extra baggage? I have the block off plates for air line that used to feed cat and also plate for ACV but it seems I saw a post about a dual alternator pulley when not running airpump.

Do I need to do something different with my belts since the airpump will no longer be on the car?

a buddy of mine took his out (gslse) only running 1 belt. he say its fine. i would think on a TII (high boost) you gonna need that extra belt to prevent slipage. why take the chance. if you run 1 belt then it starts to slip when your gunning the rexy you risk overheating, because the water pump will miss the extra belt, right.

im waiting to get the dual alt. pulley before i take off the air pump. i cant wait cause that freakin thing squeels like a bitch sometimes, lol

Ted told me awhile back that you DO need the dual alt. pully when removing the air pump. I put it on both my T2's and they worked very well!

If you run an Electric fan it does'nt slip to much but i'd fit a Duel Belt for Saftey as that belt drives the Water pump.

I've done the Mod and to be honist it did'nt make that much diffrence, the first thing i noticed is my Idle droped.
