Look behind the wheel and there are 4 (I think) screws that hold the bag on itself. Remove those and give the center piece a tug. It should pop off (no, not engaging) and then un pulg the 2 wires connecting to it. Then to remove the wheel, just undo the center bolt and 'yank the hell out of it' The only reason I know is because a buddy and I removed one at the junk yard a few weeks back.

Hope this helps,
-Brett

Whenever i take a bag off a steering wheel i am very careful. On alldata for most cars it tells you to remove the fuse, then take both battery cables of and hold them together for 25 seconds. I usually just ziptie them together. sorry battery cables first

Ive taken many off at my work, I just pull the battery cables and then I unplug the air bag and remove it then yank the wheel off. Sometimes you have to pull really hard and tug on the wheel to get it off, they like to stick after so many years of being on there.
