Removing side moldings

Yes i searched and there was no good info. Is there any effective way to remove S4 side moldings without breaking any (more) of the damn things off?

Heat gun will work. But don't leave it in one area too long, cause it will bubble the paint.

the outermost moldings have clips that hold them in place, removing side markers and squeeze the clip with pliers. the doors and mid-fenders have tar on the back of them, either a heat gun at a distance, as stated above, or just wait for a warm sunny day.
