Hi, i'm considering removing my rear wing for a more cleener look. Could someone please tell me how to go about it, is it a matter of simply unscrewing it, also whats the best way to cover up the holes? thanks heaps guys.

put duct tape over the holes and color the tape with marker to match your paint..
lol

i think the best way to cover the holes is to weld them ........ im not sure what other people do but i think welding would be the most practical.

The spoiler can be un bolted from behind, and welding us the best solution, but for a temporary solution you can use plastic push clips to plug the holes.

shipping from australia sounds a bit expensive...

The 7 does look surprisingly nice without a spoiler. I was going to get one for mine, but then started appreciating how clean it looked.

I hear you on that man, loud and clear. I even pulled and plugged my antenna hole, because the guy that had it before broke the front windshield and replaced it with one that had an antenna in it... sweet-as-hell. The less stuff these things have on them, the sleaker they look, until we get into the big race stuff. So, in conclusion, less is more, and more is more.

Each instruction must be followed left and right side

at the front from the top - pop out the colored plug and remove the phillips screw
Remove spare tire cover and tire
from underneath (inside the car under the top of the 1/4 panel) at the 1/4 panel at the mid point of the spolier- remove plastic nut - need only your hand
from underneath the rear, remove the 10mm nut
repeat other side and lift off

to fill holes - have a body shop weld over the holes. Bondo will crack.

FC3S Nataku, I could give you mines, since we both live in Florida. All you have to do is name a price, and I'll think about it. I may lower your asking price if you help me with some things, too.

there should be a very large knobby bolt underneath that portion. You simply reach your hand under there and untwist it. It's a very large bolt with grips made for your fingers. reach around... you'll see what i'm talkin about.

Gotta be a bolt your not seeing. Try pulling and see if it is a plastic push tab. (Softly)

Those small bolt holes will not crack if you use bondo. Bondo is made to "not" completely dry and crack. You can bondo those holes in about 5 seconds each.........wait........20 minutes, Sand smooth. If you used the little plastic spreader properly, you'll be able to "wet" sand the bondo and be ready to shoot a thin coat of paint.

You know, Body shops drill holes the same size as what you have in order to pull some dents. Then they use bondo to cover all those holes. SOP=Standard opertaing proceedure

I did the exact same thing with mine yesterday. I havent decided whether to leave it on or ditch it, but it needs to be painted regardless.

I think you should keep the wing, or get another wing that matches the color of your car.
