removing power steering and a/c on 87TII

hi id like to remove the powersteering, air conditioning, and cruise control from my TII i know that for the a/c i have to drain the lines from freeon and then i can just remove the pump and lines, and for the cruise control servo and cable i think all i have to do is remove the cable unbolt the box and unplug the harness and that would be done..what about removing the power steering? do i just remove the pump and thats it? or do i have to swap to a manual rack? someone told me all i have to do is remove the pump and plug the lines so the fluid or somthing will keep the internals lubricated (this guy dosnt know much about these cars but he owns one and has done this) what should i do to remove the powersteering and keep everything working until i can get a manual rack(if they make them)..the reason i want to remove this stuff is because i dont like anything in my motor bay except the motor it looks cleaner and is alot easier to work on

Mine was removed by the previous owner. It was done the simple way and that is simply to remove the pump cut the lines and leave the fluid inside. The problem with this is that its a lot harder to stear than a manual rack. It also looks ugly in the engine bay with random fluid lines cut and bolts stick in them. I kinda wish i could simply remove it all. But i think i would have to switch to a manual rack and those are like 200 bucks or so. Anyways i guess the added hp and extra space is worth it i also dont like to have extra **** on my beautiful rotary but i wish there was a way to keep the ps. But Its just not worth keeping the ps on these cars especially if you plan on trying to get some power out of them. Good luck dude
