removing OMP lines from LIM

removing OMP lines from LIM
i am currently trying to remove the LIM off my 88 tii.
it looks like the only thing still holding it on is yellowish looking lines
that seem to be coming from the OMP
there is 2 flat square shaped pieces of metal on the end of the lines near the LIM end
i just wanted to know if theres a correct way to removing them
or should i just yank the LIM off
