Removing the oil cooler lines

Hey guys, I'm having the hardest time removing one of the oil cooler lines. Its the line that returns the oil from the cooler to the engine. I loosen the fitting where it connects to the engine with 1-1/6 wrench but thats it. Is that fitting supposed to spin freely cause I can't turn it more than inch cause the hose starts to twist. Thought about take the line off from the cooler side but the 24mm bolt is so rusted and the brackets for the cooler twist when I apply any amount force. Thanks

well then i pulled my lines off of my 87 N/A,.. i did cause quite a bit of damage to my old lines taking them off... if you wanna remove the lines front the oil cooler i recoment disconnecting them from the block first and then taking the oil cooler off the car ( i had the luck of being able to use huge table side clamps that the oil cooler just disapeered into and used alot of ******* torque to get them of.. and them some more of alot of ******* torque to get the new ones on

Good luck
