removing manual window crank?

ok i've looked at the manual. looked in the search. but i cant seem to figure out how to get or where that clip that holds the handle on . i'm trying to get this done before it gets to dark. any help would be great

get a rag or a towel and put it between the door panel and the window crank and move it around the crank .sort of pushing towards the crank Pin..it will eventually dislodge the clip in between the handle and the panel..allowing you to get the clip and pop the handle off..It works real good..Good luck

ive taken mine off so many times now. get a really small flat head screw driver and bend it slightly... not too much. push on the doorpanel with your thumb right nedt the crank and youll start to see the shaft and the little omega shaped pin that holds the crank on the shaft. use the screwdriver to pop the omega shaped pin out. might take a few times of trying but once you get it youll be able to do it over and over the first try.

I always just used a knife, butter knife, peice of sheet metal, anything thin and flat.

yeah, its easy... well it will be once you figure it out for the first time, then youll be able to do it all the time withought thinking about it
