uuummm....wow..........ok........uuummmm.... first off, whats the reasoning for removing it? does it not work? are you trying to save weight?

the ac compressor is on the bottom on the driver side.....there are 4 long bolts that hold it on....but before you do that, cut the belt off....

hopefully the system has already discharged itself, if not, id recommend going to a shop and having them remove the freon...... after youve cut the belt and removed the freon.... wrench off the 4 bolts to the compressor, then remove the top bolt that holds the ac lines to the compressor......then unplug the compressor and remove it

the next thing you wanna do is remove the ac line that runs along the firewall, you'll know which one it is, cause you just undid it from the compressor...... there should be 2 10mm nuts holding it on...... then at the other end of the line, wrench off the line where it goes into the firewall...... then remove that line.......

there is another line that goes to the front of the car...... for this you'll have to remove the radiator...... you have to remove the ac condensor and a few other things up front...... the rest is self explanitory..... just follow the lines and remove anything attached to them..... all youll have left are 2 nubs sticking out of your firewall.... thats the heater core....

if you have any more questions just ask...pm me

I took mine off cause the system wasn't charged and I'd rather remove for free then pay to recharge. I didn't have to take the radiator out , I managed to just barly wiggle the condensor out. It should take a few hours if you take your time, good chance to call a friend over with a 6 pack to keep you company.

if you don't know anything about it i suggest leaving it alone. refrigerant can be a dangerous substance if not dealt with properly.

pay someone to remove it or leave it on.

If you can get it drained, it's really easy to do. just pull the radiator, disconnect all the hard lines from the ac condensor, pull all that **** out, pull the pump out and voila, done...

I yanked my whole ac setup in roughly 2 hours...that's including accidentally hitting one of the hard lines with a clawhammer....

well don't be smoking while doing it or you may wind up dead, hence my previous statement.
