Arrow Removing Air Pump Belt....

If I remove my air pump belt and get a dual alternator pulley to assist the water pump, would the air pump not running hurt anything?

Like the cat?

whats the point of taking off the belt?

Yep, no point taking off the belt if you're gonna leave the pump there. Or the ACV and cat for that matter.

Well, the reason would be to possibly pull some more efficiency out of the water pump with the dual alternator pulley.

But as I think about it, I guess it doesn't make much sense.
