REmoving the Air Pump ?
Ok since I son't have working Cats anymore or non-working ones for that matter I have blocked off the ACV and want to take the air pump off. I don't yet have the Dual belt alternator pully, however I want to remove the damned thing. Will it slip even at low RPM's or does it only slip at high RPM's like 5k and above or somthing?

An alternative would be to put on a belt that goes from the crank to the water pump. That way, you won't have to get another pulley, although Higgi's rotor-shaped pulley does look neat.

Will I start to overheat if I oh say race someone.
I usually race like every week(street) I don't go to the track or anything. I race for like three or four miles so this might make the water pump slip a lot would it not? Can my car survive about two weeks without the other belt? I am getting a pully for $20 within a week. My normal driving just goes up to 4k then I shift. but I redline once a day to keep the carbon at a minimum. What do you all think?
