removeing seats.. who said it was easy

OK im taking out my seats so i can get all the french fries from under them.... this has presummed to be harder than once expected. i managed to get the driver seat out after a while that one bolt is hard to get to.. likewise with the passanger seat.. It seems that the 14mm socket i used for every other seat bolt is the wrong size for the very last bolt on the passanger seat? is it a different size? a 13mm is still to big and a 12 seems small... help me out here... thanks

try SAE sockets. that might be what is in there? someone messing with the seats prior to you buying the car.

Me too

Try a 7/16 " socket if 13mm is too big. 13mm is approx 1/2"

I'm afraid to do mine, the bolts are nicely rusted. Normally i would really care that much, if it wasnt for the fact that one of the passeneger side bolts snapped, and now it could be seen as sligtly dangerous

Go buy a tap and die set and then drill the whole out, retap it and put in some grade eight hardware. If you do this you shouldn't have to worry about the bolts snapping. I had to use PB Blaster on my bolts to get them out, just let it sit for awhile after you spray them down.
