I just recently got turned on to this site and thank god for you guys! I have a couple of questions that hopefully someone out there can help me with. I have a 91 vert with 150K. Just before this past harsh NYC winter I was having problems starting it. One snow storm later and I found myself not even bothering to try to dig it out and just used my honda (I know I know). The weather just got better and I tried to start it...to no avail. I turned to a guy here who knows alittle bit about rotaries and he told me that because of the fuel I was using, the apex was probably stuck. He poured tranny fluid in the oil and in the gas tank and then towed it to pop the clutch. He got it working and running and brought it to his house where he did compression tests on it. It was deemed fine (within the normal range). When we first got it started the radio and the interior lights were working fine. After he did all these tests on the car, the door light keeps flashing eventhough all the doors and trunk are closed as well as the disk set light on the radio. None of the interior lights work now as well. Can anyone give some recommendations as to what to do?

You need a new Fuse for the interior lights dude

 

Thanks for the reply...I checked the fuse and it is in tact. The more stranger think is the 2 lights..the door ajar light and the disc set light on the radio blink in succession. When I put on the exterior headlights..the door ajar light stops blinking but stays totally lit. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

try checkin the wirings!! might have a loose ground or something.

 

Clean the contactpoints at the doorswitches, they tend to rust

 

Where would I find a loose ground?
