You know that SM2 is know SSM. Thats the class im running. Kumho is coming out with a 245/40/17 and many different sizes this year. As for cops bothering you about your tires , the v710s are dot approve.
Thanks, I just looked up the new SM/SSM rules and we got the weight break of 200lbs for 275mm width and under! I was hoping that would go through.

Of course, now it looks like the Miatas should be competitive in SSM with a peripheral port 2 rotor, 275/35-15 and only 2000Lb...

My min weight is 2300Lb? I am at 2620Lb last I checked...

Oh, V710 are DOT approved- but they don't look like street tires so cops will give you a ticket (and check out your car for other infractions) and they don't have enough heat cycles in them to drive to and from the AutoX anyways.
