you can remove the efan if you don't have the A/C anymore.

isn't it connected to the a/c condenser? if so you might as well remove the whole thing, condenser and all, if you haven't already.

I was looking at the fan when I pulled it out of my car and decided to throw it back in and control it with my haltech just for extra flow for now. It seems like it is a pretty decent power fan, ever think about wiring it as an intercooler fan?

you shouldn't have any say in that. It's a pusher fan for the AC so you are probably going to want to use it as a pusher unless you can wire it backwards and have it spin the other way. Not sure if you could get away with that.

I don't believe the stock fan works reverse polarity.

No, it's bolted to the chassis (3 bolts).

That's how it works stock, and it does so completely independantly of the ECU. There's a temp switch on the filler neck (S4) or water pump (S5) that switches it on at ~205degF to provide additional cooling if it's needed. It didn't need to be connected to the Haltech.

Personally I'd leave the auxiliary electric fan exactly as it is even if the A/C is removed. It's free additional cooling that you might one day wish you still had, particularly with a FMIC. If the A/C condensor is removed then you could try to remount the fan further back towards the radiator to make room for the FMIC.
