Remove the clear plastic cover on a gauge cluster????
Does anyone have any ideas/tricks to remove the clear plastic face on the stock gauge clusters? It looks like they are glued in, and a heat gun doesn't seem to work very well.

Yeah...on mine it had the tabs and the glue. I tried to get mine off to clean in there but it started to crack so I just left it alone. Sorry I can't be of more help.

to wind back the odometer.. to paint the needles... to break the needles while ur painting them.. to push the needle past 240km and 8000 revs to take a photo..

There are 5 (i think 5...maybe 4) screws in the back of the cluster that hold that front cover on.

On the second picture, you can see those three white tabs with holes in them at the bottom.. That's what you want to unscrew.
