Removal of Turbo and LIM on TII

Just a stupid question but is it possible to remove the Turbo/LIM without pulling the entire motor? I'm breaking down a TII while it is in the car and i'm thinking it needs to be pulled to get easy access to these parts?

Or are they accessible from the underside of the car? Just curious before I get too crazy and pull the thing.

yeah of course you can. I have a hybrid turbo, so the intake maniold might not come off without me taking off my turbo. If you have a stock turbo you might have enough clearance to take off the LIM.

Turbo and turbo manifold have to come off before the LIM can. But then the LIM has to be taken off before the turbo/manifold (if removed in one piece, which is easier) can be removed from the engine bay.

KaBlam-O Awesome lil write-up thanX. Just gotta get under the beast and finish kegging this thing. I think my biggest annoyance right now is the heat shield and all the other garbage thats on this thing.

Cheers!

Turbo has to come off before LIM...

Start with IC/TB/UIM/Alt etc etc, then take the dowpipe and stuff off. Turbo lines/turbo, then you can either take off the turbo manifold or the LIM..

Have fun.
