removal of 6 ports and smog

If you remove the aux. port actuators sleeves, how, and/or will it affect smog?

I don't think it will affect passing an emmission test, but I haven't removed them so I wouldn't know. It is pointless to wire open or remove the six ports, in my opinion. It would be just as easy to fix inoperative sixth ports than to remove them, and the car would be more drivable under 4000 rpm, and just might even get better gas mileage . . like 18-22ish . . wouldn't that be sweet?

I get that milage and my six ports ARE wired open. Hopefully it will get even better after a retiming and a fuel controler.

Wow, you must have stock ports. I remember those days. You could probably get in the 25 range!

Yeah, before the new exhaust and wiring open, I got 25mpg with highway driving.

Still stock ports.
