relentless fuel pressure issue

it was some noname ebay regulator. i'm pulling vacuum off of one of the nipples on the dynamic chamber, is that not an ok spot?

If you're using one of the nipples on the front only the bottom one is a vacuum source.

okay well it's luckily the bottom one ..BOV was one above it.. i suppose i'll be relocating that!

Typically if the fuel pressure is too low or dropping, and correct fuel pump voltage at the pump is verified, you can slowly pinch the fuel return hose closed at whatever speed the engine will run at (I have a tool for this that doesn't injure the hose, but using needlenose vice grips will do) and watch for fuel pressure increase. If the pressure increases to specs or higher, suspect the FPR or it's vacuum source. If the pressure doesn't rise to normal, suspect the pump/filters.

i suppose i'll try screwing with the fpr and if that doesnt do it, i've learned my lesson and will just buy the nice AEM one i've been eyeing.
