2Gens IATs and the Mazda MPV

Out of all the cars in Mazdas' 1980s lineup, it seems like I'm always substituting broken engine/chassis parts with pieces from the MPV!

Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know that you can use the Intake Air Temp (IAT) sensor from a V-6 MPV (88-90 so far) in place of the the often fragile piece on our 2nd gens-screws right in, plugs right up.

Correct me if I'm wrong on this one, but when I was pulling my window switches from the MPV, I believe I saw a power mirror switch that looked exactly the same as the one in the FC. My question on the IAT sensor in the MPV is, does it have the same specs as the FC one? In other words, does it react to the intake air temps the same way the FC one does?

I'll have a clearer picture on IAT calibration hopefully tomorrow-if it's not raining here in sunny southern California, haha!
