Regualr maintanance?

Hi, guys.
I have a question about maintanance.
When I had 00' civic, it required to have regular maintaince every 7500mile and I had to pay $100-350 every time....:_: it was kind of annoying.

When I got my 91' n/a auto with 80k on it last October, I did 60k full-tune-up for $450(?) at dealership and also changed rear brakes for $150. After that, I changed engine oil every 3000 mile twice. So now my 7 have 865xx miles. Actually, it have served well until now.

I am using 7 as a daily driver for commuting and this is only car i have now. So I want it to be trouble free. I have never rev-up more than 6-7k. I have never driven more than 100mph since I have. I know I am driving 7 like a grandfar... If you have only one car, you will understand.^_^

My question is when will be next maintanance? Every 7500 mile like a civic? more or less?
I heard from one of my freinds, who have 95' celica, that regular(minor) maintanance from dealership does not mean anything. Just changing engine oil regulary will be ok.

Any advice will be appreciated.
Thanks.
Have a nice day.

change the oil every 2500 or so miles

change the sparkplugs, wires, air filter every year

change the fuel filter, coolant, and thermostat every 2 years.

change the tranny and diff fluid if it hasn't been done. that is good for a long time.

Look in the FSM, under Pre-Delivery Inspection and Maintenance Section. It's probably best to stick with it for the most part... helps avoid simple problems later on: http://www.iluvmyrx7.com/index.htm>

In addition to Scotts suggestions:

On a Non Turbo that is not flooding, up to 5000 miles between oil changes is fine (as long as you are using a good oil like Castrol or Pennzoil). The oil should be changed every time ASAP after a flooding situation however.

And the Brake/clutch fluid as well as the belts should also be changed every two years.
