Redline MT-90...okay in differential?
Okay, I have done a search and I still am unsure about this.
I'm gonna do the transmission and differential oil change this weekend, so I went and bought six quarts of Redline MT-90. Then, I saw somewhere that someone did not recommend putting the MT-90 in the differential, only the transmission, and recommended another oil for the differential. Is it detrimental to put the MT-90 in the differential?
Thanks...

IMO you should just get the diff specifc fluid. Ive heard people say you can run MT90 but why when you can just buy the diff fluid. But if you cant return the other 3 quarts or you're really set on using it, call redline for a defenitive answer.

75W90 is the recommended fluid for the rear. if you have a clutch-type LSD.  75W90NS is the recommended fluid for the rear, if you do not have a clutch-type LSD.  The MT-90 has special additives (minus the sulfates), but it shouldn't do much harm in the rear diff.  Contact the folks at Redline and ask them yourself?
