redline
Hey,
I've got an 88 rx7 se and when i seem to rev it to 6000 rpm or more it makes this beeping sound. At first i thought it was my horn, but i pressed my horn and they're two different tones. I'm guessing its telling me to shift. What do you think?
Thanks

1.3L is not that small
mazda put it there so that you know if you hear that buzzer for more than 10 min you will blow the motor... thats the only logical deduction i can make of that damn buzzer... otherwise if your stupid enough to need a buzzer to tell you to shift your at redline then you dont need to drive a stick... IGNORE IT!!
and im also assuming since you just noticed that you must have just gotten the car unless youve owned it and not floored it ever... UNLIKELY... so congrats on the purchase and welcome to the forum
