Exclamation red jelly crap on the spark plugs?????

well i was swapping out the spark plugs on my buddies 87 n/a and discovered that who ever put them in the first time put them in the wrong way two leading on the front housing and two trailing on the rear . then i found what looked like red jelly on the lower rear spark plug does anyone know what it is and what it might indicate? please help ...thanks guys dont know what i can tell him ...

Chances are the red jelly is from one of those anti-corrosion packets you can buy at Autozone/Kragen/Checkers. As far as the plugs go...it's not that big of a deal. Straighten them out and it'll be fine.

you can see the the logic there though, obviously they didn't understand how the engine works, but at least that was preety good guess
