red jelly crap on the spark plugs?????
well i was swapping out the spark plugs on my buddies 87 n/a and discovered that who ever put them in the first time put them in the wrong way two leading on the front housing and two trailing on the rear . then i found what looked like red jelly on the lower rear spark plug does anyone know what it is and what it might indicate? please help ...thanks guys dont know what i can tell him ...
Chances are the red jelly is from one of those anti-corrosion packets you can buy at Autozone/Kragen/Checkers. As far as the plugs go...it's not that big of a deal. Straighten them out and it'll be fine.
