Red ember shot out of my exhaust :(
well i was driving realy hard in a parking lot in the evening. I was probably at WOT when it happened. My friends said that when my car backfired, a reb ember shot out of my exhaust and rolled on the ground. This really concerns me. Im wondering if it could be anything else besides a solderpoint melting off or a flake of carbon became dislodged. my mods are in my sig if it matters. thanks -alex

Well... you're not running any cats.. so You didn't blow a hole through your cat. Hmm... I wouldn't worry too much about it. As long as the car runs fine.... keep her purrin. Could have just been carbon or something. Ive got a vid of a red T2 doing burnouts.. pegging the redline and shooting all kinds of **** out the muffler.

If you engine is still idling normally and driving allright.... you're fine. The exhaust gases produced by our cars are so hot and comming out SO FAST that they will dislodge pieces of carbon and rust from inside the exhaust system and blow it out the rear.
Says you got the racing beat full turbo back system, that means that there is a clear shot from your turbo to the ***!!! it was probably a hunk of carbon from the exhaust or a piece of rust from inside the manifold blowing out the wastegate!!
