Emission Removal pics?

Just wondering if anyone has any pics of "in the process" emission removal. My buddy and i are almost done but we're confused on this info from our resources."

You now have 3 items that need to see manifold vacuum/boost, they will all get teed together and run to the single vacuum nipple left, on the passengers side of the upper intake manifold…these are fuel pressure regulator (upper fuel rail, back side), blowoff valve, and boost sensor (if you have a boost gauge you can tee it in here as well).

Thanks for the help

David

Uhm...

With everything else gone, there is ONE, and only ONE, nipple on teh passengers side of the upper intake manifold on a turbo model. You run a short piece of hose off this nipple, and use a tee to run your 3 items off this one for the most simplicity.

I dont know how it can be made more simple, really...there is no other way to interpret the instructions.

I'm using your resource RotarResurrection, don't get me wrong its an awesome How-To i'm just confused, are you talking about the one nipple left over on the UIM in the middle because we left that one open to run our OMP vacume do we tee this into there as well because thats the only nipple we have left over with vacume. This is where there are 3 nipples vertical and we have two already capped off except for the middle one.

Yeah, I think you're confused, or something.

1) walk to your car. stand in front of the hood. raise hood.

2) IF you have a north american lefthand drive car, the passengers side is on YOUR left...the side of the car opposite the driver.

3) on that side of the engine (to your left) you'll find ONE nipple on the intake manifold...only one. Pointing towards the strut tower on the passengers side.

You tee your stuff into that nipple. IF you wanted, you could use the ones on the FRONT of the UIM too, but then the simplicity factor is defeated.

The OMP vacuum hose that splits into 4, goes to the original nipple which is back on the backside of the intake manifold, facing the firewall in the center of the car. The biggest of the 3 runs the OMP hoses, the smaller ones get capped. Do not try to use these for boost measurement (bov, boost sensor, fpr) because they do not see boost, only atmospheric and vacuum.

Ok badass i get what you're saying its pretty much the only nipple on the left side of the car right on the very bottom of the UIM? You wouldn't happen to have AOL instant messenger would you? You gotta forgive me this is the first time I've worked on a TII motor and removing emissions at that
