Question Recommendations for my Rx-7

I bought my first RX-7 a few weeks ago and right now I have about 4k to dump into it (more $$$ coming later). I have an 87 N/A (non turbo) with about 110,000 miles on it, but in otherwise good condition. I was planning on making it a street/drag car. My question is what should I do first? Originaly I was planning on doing an engine swap with a rebuilt turbo engine. If anyone could give me some advice on what upgrades I should do first It would be greatly appreciated.

Sell it and use the money to buy a T2, then rebuild the T2 engine and buy a larger turbo/after market ECU/etc.

^^ what he said... if you have 4k left over after buying that n/a then def just sell it ... however if your stuck on your car like glue (me) and could never sell it to another person then i guess just do the swap

Buying a T2 is'nt an option I've been looking for one withing 100 miles of where I live for the past 8 months and located only three. All three of them were in such bad condition it would have been a waste of buy them. So i'm pretty much stuck with it. tr4c3, I would be happy to buy you a T2, just as soon as I win the Lotto.

First thing you should do is contact me about an exhaust. $450 for a full tru-dual setup, including header. However, don't order from me if you need it "now"...shipping from my area sucks total ***.

You need to look harder, I searched EVERY newspaper and online source for two months before finding mine. I'd rather bust my *** searching than bust my *** doing a swap..

Yes, what they all said brother...sell it get urself a decent T2. Its too much trouble puttin a T2 in that car man...its better off if you buy a T2 and get it rebuild. You don't have to worry about finding all the necessary parts to turn it into a T2. Goodluck on ur finding.
