No no no. The guy I bought it from had it rebuilt not too long ago and he didnt get any fuel upgrades except an FCD. The compression is horrible. Still drives and idles.I just checked the timing on it and it was way off. It is as far as it can go but its not even lined up yet. It was advanced a lot. The timing light cant get a signal from the trailing wires. Doesnt that mean that the plugs are fouled? The coil is getting power, and the wires are good.

yep i will agree with the other guys......you might want to invest in a front mount intercooler too, with that much boost on the stock intercooler, you're just moving hot air.....and if the compression is terrible why dont you invest in a rebuild instead of more parts to kill the engine faster....or at least a jspec that will drop in with low miles....and a great upgreat to really feel all the potential power would be a stand alone like the mega squirt so you have full control over your air/fuel.

First off dont go buying a JDM motor have yours rebuilt if needed! What is your compression? You shold start buy taking your timing from the L1 wire and the yellow mark should be flashing right on the pin. If it is not you need to restab your CAS. Dont be afraid it does take a few tries and maybe even 10min of trying to get it right. If you are not geeting a pickup try reversing the pickup sender on the wire. After this turn the CAS back around 5 or so degrees or 1/3 back from the yellow to the red to acomidate your extra boost. Feel free to check the T after this but it will be dead on.

Rear rotor is 25-25-50. Front is 60-60-60. Car still pulls in high rpms. I dont get what your saying. The cas is turned as far as it will go and the yellow mark is still an inch away. The timing light wont pick up a signal from the trailing plug wires.

Save up and rebuild that engine, Megasquirt + 720 injectors or Rtek 1.7 + injectors.

The motor is fucked (if the compression is that low), do a rebuild before you toss a seal and raise the cost. Don't drive it until its blown and you're searching for new *used* housings.

You can upgrade the primaries, but it really isnt necessary as of now. I'd do what Jager said and buy the rtek 1.7 + injectors. For secondaries 720's should work just fine. Thats currently what i have in my car. Though it all depends on what kind of horsepower your looking for.

From the stock injectors i took the secondaries, cleaned them, then put them as primaries. With the 720's its good for about 300hp with other fuel mods.

upgrading primaries makes it harder to get a good idle.

personally i'd get like a s-afc or the like and upgrade the primaries because that would be cool. And definitely take it apart and get it fixed BEFORE an apex seal decides to **** your world up and cost you a new rotor and housing.

please dont tell people stuff like that. his motor is blown.... the last thing useful he could do is get bigger primaries.

maybe you think this beast is making soo much power down low that its running out of fuel before the secondarys come on.

please lookinto getting the motor rebuilt.
