rebuilt turbo broke in only 1 dyno session wtf happened

well, a while back i posted that my engine blew the coolant seals and i thought i had to take the engine out but me and my bro where curious and thought that it was the turbo, so we take the turbo out and bingo, all the smoke that was coming form my car was definately the turbo. when we took it out it was all covered in oil(meaning it got toast lol). the turbo was just rebuilt and only in onse session of the dyno it broke, i don't understand what happened, all the internal parts meaning the dynamic seal, thrust bearing, bronze bearings got burnt. it seems like i wasn't getting much oil on my turbo. im goona rebuild it again but i want to know if someone has had the same problem. my turbo is a stock tII turbo with a to4b compressor housing.

thanks

How did it fail?

Did you have it balanced?

^ any time you have the compressor and turbine separated, you need to have the shaft balanced. even a little wobble will mess your day up at 100,000 rpm.

Sounds like you starved it of oil.
