Rebuilding tool
Hey all
i was watching a little video clip of the mazda factory building the new rensis motors, and when they were doing the actual rotor they had this awesome little jig that the rotor sat in and held it all in place like the apex seals side seals and all that gooffy crap and its was made so it would just slide into the housings with no problem. does anyone know if these tools exist oustide of the factory? or am i hoplessly lost to do it by hand and stuff?

i saw that too... looked pretty cool, but probably costs an arm and a leg if it exists outside. they put it all together in liek 5 minutes... awesome people.

Even with vaseline as you're putting those rotors into the housing against the iron, you gotta have a good grip on the apex seals cuz they slip out wayyyy too easy. At least they did for me
Took me a few tries my first time.

I've seen the video too. Pretty nice jig setup but I probably won't even consider one unless I was buildling rotary engines for a living where time counts.
